CV Writing Tips
It's easier than you think.
The main reason we created CV.ME was to help job applicants - especially those starting their careers - create their CV online and share it with anyone with a simple link or apply to job postings with a single click.
Here are the only tips you need to create your CV. They are simple and they just work.
One Page Limit - Your CV must not exceed exceed one page. The person reading your CV has to read many other CV’s. Save them some time.
Fresh Graduates - It’s ok if your CV is very short. Do not list all the courses you took in college.
Two Minute Limit - If it takes more than two minutes to read your CV, you are doing it wrong.
Be Honest - HR is more intelligent than you may like.
Build An Online Reputation - Irrespective of your job, build an online presence (Github, Open Source Contributions, Stack Overflow, Behance, etc.). A good online community reputation speaks more about you than all the words in your CV.
These tips are valid for CV’s everywhere and not just for your CV on CV.ME.
